Penang Island

Here comes another shots I took of Penang. I loved most of them but the real thing is totally better than this photos. Maybe my skills isn’t really sufficient for this yet. But well, practice makes perfect 🙂

Also, I dunno why but it’s been really hard for me to write in Indonesian. Indonesian is my mother language, but it’s really hard to actually write a blog with it. Maybe it’s just cause I read fun blogs in English more XD. So, from now on, I guess I’ll start writing in English. In Indonesian sometimes maybe, when I feel like it. My English isn’t that good either. But, whatever, here goes the pictures 😀

I’m back!

Hello Medan! Akhirnya jam 6.30 tadi saya balik lagi ke kota Medan ini. Perjalanan yang singkat tapi cukup menyenangkan. Terlalu menyenangkan sampai2 agak kelewatan, kami berempat sibuk berfoto disana sini sampai foto kami untuk 3 hari ini mencapai 1000 foto…

Bakalan makan waktu yang lama banget untuk memilih dan memproses gambar gambar yang ada ini… Off to work… T_T..

William, the big-nosed person

I just happened to think of this song on my way to my office. It’s mainly a modified “Rudolph, the red-nosed reindeer”. Thought it might be a good Christmas joke :D.

Just change the name to your friend’s name, in this case i use my friend’s name William and the “his” to “her” according to the gender, then sing it along Rudolph, the red-nosed reindeer’s music! 🙂

William, the big-nosed person
had a very swelled nose.

Last Sunday Before Christmas

Heck, was a fabulous sunday last night! I should be fast asleep as soon as I got back into my room if not for the rain that’s kindly giving me a “bath” the whole time I’m on my way home. But, surely, it’s seriously tiring since I’ve been out since 9 am and finally got back home rain drenched at almost 12 pm. Doing a lot of stuffs like looking for christmas gift for my friends, planning my christmas trip that’s coming soon, and some other several stuffs together with my friend.

But one thing I did notice all the time I’m out today. At every shop we visited or passed through yesterday, christmas song is playing! The feeling that christmas is coming soon can be seen everywhere.

Somehow, I managed to know most of the song that’s being played there

Geisha Concert

Nah! Siapa yang ngak tahu Geisha? Group band yang sudah cukup terkenal di tanah air tempat tinggal kita ini. Lagu lagunya sudah mulai melengkapi dunia musik Indonesia sejak bertahun tahun lalu. Namun jujur saja, saya tidak tahu Geisha :D. Saya pernah mendengar nama Geisha jelas saja, tapi saya tidak pernah tahu lagu apa yang dinyanyikan oleh Geisha. 32GB (8,205 files) dari harddisk saya ditempati oleh file lagu MP3, namun tidak ada satupun lagu Geisha di antara itu semua. OMG ketinggalan jaman banget ya gwe 😦

Kemudian saya dapat kabar kalo Geisha bakal datang ke Medan untuk acara KONSER PEDULI UNTUK NEGRI yang di selenggarakan oleh CLASSMILD. Dan kebetulan pula EO (Baca : Event Organizer) yang mengurus konser itu adalah EO yang tetangganya kantor saya. Ambil ambil kesempatan, saya ikutan minta badge staffnya supaya bisa masuk ke backstage. Kesempatan buat latihan foto foto konser!

Akhirnya dengan modal lensa kit Nikkor 18-55mm tanpa embel embel lainnya, saya berhasil mengambil beberapa foto konser Geisha. Agak ngeselin sih dengan keterbatasan zoom nya. Tapi berhubung saya bisa berdiri cukup dekat dengan panggung, hasil yang didapat juga cukup lumayan :). Yang agak mengejutkan, selama konser berlangsung, tanpa sadar saya juga bisa ikut bernyanyi sambil jepret jepret. Dengan lirik yang tepat pula! I guess Geisha is pretty famous after all 😀

Naudo – Acoustic Guitar Master

Naudo is an acoustic guitarist that comes out a lot at YouTube. He cover a lot of other artist’s song in guitar and plays them at a restaurant. I don’t know much about guitar plays, but, from so many guitarist. I believe Naudo is the best I’ve ever seen.

As for now, ever since 1st Dec ortoPilot has been starting his Advent Calendar. Which means he is going to post a new song cover everyday up till Christmas. That means 25 videos in 25 days! Gosh that should be a very hard work.. But then again, his fans are very enthusiastic with it.
